Break between matches
by Bonnie

Q: If a person has just finished playing a 3 setter in a tournament and was scheduled to play another match immediately, what is the break time allowed for that person.

A: The answer can vary, depending on the type of event. However, players in events without age restrictions in NTRP tournaments shall be entitled to a rest period of 60 minutes between matches. The exception is that if the matches are in different divisions (eg., singles and doubles) the referee is only required to offer the player 30 minutes between matches.
